"This large oak tree, divided between the setting sun and the rising moon glorifies the majesty between night and day. It is inspired by a tree on a ranch at the borderline between Marin and Sonoma counties. Many of these wonderful oaks can be seen from the road but I love those special ones that few people see. They seem like special religious objects hidden in plain sight.”
